This is an important environmental improvement in terms of our carbon footprint, given that the CO2 impact of our plastic packaging is much lower than that of a glass jar or an aluminium can. We are firmly committed to the sustainable development of food packaging. Therefore, our Technical Department is constantly working to reduce thicknesses and to optimise the wrapping and transport of our products in order to reduce our carbon footprint to the minimum. As far as energy consumption is concerned, the company has a number of state-of-the-art fully electric injection machines which allow us to save a great deal of energy. Sarabia Pack also believes in a circular economy model that extends the useful life of products and reduces the use of raw materials. This is why the company is planning to steadily increase the recycled content of its packaging, with the aim of making them increasingly sustainable.
